Online t-shirt designer

A product designer on your own site, so customers design and order without emailing you files.

What customers can do

  • Add text, clip art and their own logo
  • See every print area of the real product
  • Add names and numbers from a roster
  • Order, or send the design for a quote

Checks before it reaches you

Each design is checked against the print method: resolution, size, safe zone and colours, so problems show before the order is placed.

An online t-shirt design tool on your own site

Most customers do not send print-ready files. They send a phone photo of a logo and a line of text in an email. The Dyenzo designer gives them a better way. It runs on your own website and domain, inside your theme, so customers design on your products without leaving you. Shoppers, signed-in customers and your own staff all use the same designer, and every design lands in Dyenzo ready to quote, proof and print.

How a customer designs a shirt

  • They pick a product from your catalogue and a colour. Only the colours and products you offer on the website are shown.
  • They choose a print area, such as the front, back or a sleeve. Each area is drawn at its real size on that product.
  • They add text in the fonts you allow for that print method, upload their own logo, or pick art from your library.
  • For a team order they add names and numbers, or paste a roster straight from a spreadsheet.
  • They enter how many of each size they need and see the live price change as they go.
  • They save the design, share it with a teammate or boss, then add it to the cart or send it to you as a quote request.

Problems shown before the order, not after

Every design is checked against the decoration method it will print with. A blurry photo, a logo with more colours than a screen print setup allows, text smaller than the method can hold, art outside the safe zone or a file type the method cannot print all show as a warning or a block while the customer is still designing. You decide per method what counts as a block and what is only a warning. Library art can have locked colours, so a club crest cannot be recoloured by mistake.

The settings that matter

SettingWhat it controls
Print areas The size and position of every area on each product, in cm or mm
Method rules Resolution, maximum size, safe zone, smallest text, colour limits and vector only
Fonts Which fonts each print method offers; any other font is blocked
Colour palettes Your ink or thread colours, with a store able to use its own palette
Art library Clip art and templates, with private categories for staff only
Prices The same price grids you use for quotes, so the designer price is the real price

Helpful tools for messy artwork

Customers can upload a picture that is not ready to print. Make print-ready offers a cleaned-up version for the area's print method, and nothing is placed until the customer chooses "Use this version". Text can take a gradient or a picture inside the letters where the method can print it. On a method with set colours, effects it cannot print are blocked rather than left for you to find.

What happens next in your shop

A design from the designer is not a loose file in your inbox. Staff link it to a quote or order line, with its roster and a mockup that shows on documents and emails. You make a proof from it, the customer approves online, and the approved order locks that version of the design so nothing changes under you. On approval, Dyenzo makes the print files for each area at your resolution, ready for the pre-press check and the production board. A repeat order can reuse the approved proof.

Inside team and company stores

The same designer opens from a team, school or company store. The store sets its own rules: which products may be customised, which colours are allowed and which palette is used. A store design is checked against those rules again in the cart, so an order cannot slip past them.

Questions

Do customers need an account to use the designer?

No. Shoppers can design, save and share without signing in. Signed-in customers also see their saved designs in the customer portal.

Can my staff use the designer for phone and counter orders?

Yes. Staff open the same designer from the back office, including products that are not on sale on the website.

Does the designer show the price?

Yes. It shows a live price for the sizes entered, worked out from your own price grids, setup fees and minimums.

What file types can customers upload?

Common picture and vector files. Each print method can be set to accept only vector art or to need a transparent background, and the designer says so before the order.
